AudioROMANtica - a virtual and stationary museum of transmitting time, sound and image is my passion and mission.

And that's how it started ...
The dream of every young boy in the 1970s in Poland was to have audio equipment and an electronic watch, preferably with melodies, and already the largest equipment of the Western brand, which was almost unavailable at that time. This dream turned into a passion that has been going on for over 40 years. I collect audio equipment ranging from tube devices such as radios and adapters from the beginning of the 20th century to very technologically advanced devices of the late 90s. I buy them very often, saving them from destruction and expanding my collection reaching several hundred pieces of both radio tape recorders, walkmans, stereo systems, loudspeakers, reel-to-reel tape recorders and TV sets, etc. Japanese, German, Danish and, of course, Polish brands. I would like to create the largest museum in Europe of audio and video equipment from the beginning of broadcasting until the end of the 90's, when the analog era "ended". I plan to mark the digital age with the most interesting single copies. As I mentioned before, I have my own, valuable collection, which I would like to systematically expand and make available for viewing to present and future generations, presenting their history, because for today's young people the term "tape recorder" is no longer associated with anything, and as it is known on These carriers have recorded the sound and the image of our entire history since the invention of the tube and the transistor. As I wrote, I would like to expand my collection and educate generations at the same time. Both in Poland and abroad, there is a wide group of enthusiasts of these devices and music played on these devices, which in our opinion sounds more natural and friendly than digitally played. But there is no such real stationary museum ina country. Such a museum could make our country famous all over the world. I am currently creating the largest virtual museum - http://wehikul-czasu.com/.

We believe that your help will enable the implementation of the planned initiative and will contribute to the development and cultural education of generations.

============= Project audioROMANtica - stationary museum of  time, sound and image transmission=================

The search for a suitable building took quite a long time and fortunately it was successful. We managed to find a place for our museum. We are writing about it now, because the work has already started and our "enchanted garden", as you can see in the photo, was cleaned up a bit, and it was also a time-consuming task.

There is still a lot of work ahead of us to complete the project. We hope that winter will be kind to us and will allow us to move on to the next phases of the project, so that next summer we can start putting the equipment on the shelves.

We will, of course, report on the work progress here and on the Audio Azyl channel.
